How to recognize if my device is a USBy v2 or USBy v3
1. Open the list of WiFi networks
2. If the network created by USBy contains the wording “v3” (eg USBy-V3_XXXXXX) then your USBy is v3
3. Otherwise select the network created by USBy (eg USBy_xxxxxx); Open your Web Browser and type the following command: 192.168.4.1/upload.html
4. If the version is 3.1.x or higher the version of your USBy is v3 otherwise it is v2
What to do to get the USBy ID
The USBy ID is returned at the end of the procedure “Connect USBy to the Router / Modem” in the User Manual

Why after connecting to the USBy network does the WiFi networks icon show that there is no Internet access (sometimes with the “!” Symbol)?
After connecting to the network created by USBy, it is normal for the WiFi networks icon to show that there is no Internet access (sometimes with the “!” Symbol). In fact, you are currently connected to the local network created by USBy which, not yet connected with your Router / Modem, does not allow access to the Internet.

What to do if the USBy device has WiFi connection problems with your Router / Modem
1. Turn off USBy for about 10 seconds
2. Turn off your Router / Modem
3. Turn on USBy by connecting it to the mains using a special adapter (eg adapters used to recharge mobile phones) near the Router / Modem (approx. 1-3m) or to the USB port of your Router / Modem
4. Open the list of WiFi networks and select the network created by USBy (eg USBy- V3_XXXXXX)
5. Open your Web Browser and enter the following URL 192.168.4.1/reset.html
6. At this point you will need to:
– Disconnect the USBy device from the power outlet
– Turn on your Router / Modem
– Connect the USBy device to the power outlet
– Repeat the procedure for Connecting USBy to the Router / Modem as described in paragraph 1.1.1. of the User Manual
