USBy's WiFi network is not displayed
Disconnect USBy from the power supply for 5 seconds and reconnect it; then check the behavior of the USBy blue light.
- If the blue light on USBy continues to flash, you must be able to find the WiFi network created by USBy (try with other devices: smartphone, PC, iPad, tablet)
- If the blue light on USBy flashes a few times and turns off, it means that USBy has connected to your Router and all that remains is to register it (Note: After connecting to the router, the USBy WiFi network is hidden for security reasons)
- If the blue light on USBy remains solid, send an email to assistenza@controllocasa.it indicating the sequence of operations carried out previously.
It is not possible to connect to the WiFi network created by USBy
Disconnect USBy from the power supply for 5 seconds and reconnect it; then try to connect to the WiFi network created by USBy.
If you encounter difficulties, try connecting to the WiFi network created by USBy with other devices (smartphone, PC, iPad, tablet) or deactivate and reactivate WiFi from your PC, smartphone, iPad
If the blue light on USBy flashes a few times and goes off, it means that USBy has connected to your router and consequently the USBy WiFi network is not displayed for security reasons.
USBy's WiFi network does not have access to the Internet
During installation it is NORMAL that the USBy WiFi network does not yet have access to the Internet (sometimes indicated by the "!" symbol).
USBy's WiFi network will have access to the Internet after USBy has connected to your Router.
You cannot display the home screen with flags
Check that you are connected to the WiFi network created by USBy.
Check that you have entered the 192.168.4.1 command in the address bar and NOT in the search bar
The connection procedure to the router returns the codes 0 and 201
- Check that the name of your wifi network does not contain the apostrophe character: '
- Check that your WiFi network password does not contain the apostrophe character: '
- Follow the instructions displayed on the user interface.
If the problem persists, send an email to assistenza@controllocasa.it with the following information:
- Brand of your Router
- Model of your Router
- Installation performed from: PC, Mac, smartphone, iPad, tablet
- Web browser used: EDGE, SAFARI, CHROME, FIREFOX
- Description of the problem
Registration fails and returns the message “Device not connected”
If USBy continues to flash, repeat the installation procedure from the beginning.
If USBy does not flash:
- Turn off your Router
- Disconnect USBy from the power supply
- Turn on your Router
- Wait for your router's WiFi to be operational
- Power your USBy
- Connect to your WiFi network
- Open your Web Browser and type the following address: https://controllocasa.com/activation.html
- Fill in the fields using the USBy identifier you noted previously
Registration fails due to connection loss
If you lose connection during the registration phase, you can complete the procedure by carrying out the following steps:
- Connect to your WiFi network
- Open your Web Browser and type the following address: https://controllocasa.com/activation.html
- Fill in the fields using the USBy identifier noted
How to recover USBy ID
- If USBy has not yet been configured with your Router, the USBy identifier (i.e. USBy ID) is shown in the top right of the screen during the installation phase.
- If you forgot to write down the USBy ID during the installation phase, perform the following steps:
- Turn off your router or disable WiFi
- Turn off USBy and connect it to an electrical outlet using the adapter
- Open the list of WiFi networks
- Note the WiFi network created by USBy and send it via email to assistenza@controllocasa.it asking to receive the USBy identifier to be able to register it
- Turn on your router or enable WiFi
- If USBy has already been registered, the USBy identifier is shown on your user page on the website controllocasa.com
USBy's WiFi network is no longer visible
Disconnect USBy from the power supply
Power your USBy again
If the blue light on USBy flashes a few times and goes off, it means that USBy has successfully connected to your Router and consequently the USBy WiFi network is no longer displayed for security reasons.
